1/14/2019

Students read about a fictional account of the first convention for women's suffrage (right to vote) in 1848.  Students were first given a mini-lesson to review best practices for reading and comprehending a text.  Then, they answered five comprehension questions.

In JA Biztown, students did pages 10 and 11 as a formal assessment in which they filled out deposit tickets and tried to balance a register.  I decided that I need to review again tomorrow to allow them a better chance of getting it done right.
