I am posting this during my planning period since I am leaving for the dentist's office to get my permanent crown put in. Hopefully this will be the last time for a long time that I will going there.
Students finished up with the social studies tie-in project and then worked on Edginuity Reading. I would definitely encourage students to use this resource since it takes their MAP results and customizes the content - meets them at their level and takes things up a notch when they are ready. In science, they did a warm-up: ![]()
Then, the students were given the opportunity to go to my Launch Page and to take the embedded practice quiz. The practice quiz is similar to, but not a copy of, the actual quiz. It is close enough so that if the students truly know the content, they will do just fine. A couple of things about it:
- the students will get immediate feedback, right or wrong. - they will get a percent score at the end with the option to retake it - they may retake it as many times as needed to achieve at least 80% (mastery) - the questions are in random order so while they will get the same questions each time, the sequence will not necessarily be the same. The answer choices are the same order no matter what. Here is the quiz below..... Comments are closed.
