We are continuing with integrating two texts that of the same topic, but different. As you can see below, I have two examples in the warm-up and the exit ticker.
For the remainder of the class, students were given time to work on the Wax Museum notes that are due Friday.
In science, we are in Day 2 of matter: properties and change. We went over some of the different properties such as hardness/softness, flexibility/rigidity, material composition, etc.
Today's focus was to do a walk around the room and record random items (there are a LOT!) and how each item may be classified in different ways. For example, a plastic chair can be classified as hard, rigid, blue, made of plastic, etc. The idea was to find as many different classifications as possible.
