Today was the ecosystems quiz.  This one was different in the sense that it was strictly on vocabulary rather than concepts.  There were 15 questions with a word bank of 8 words at the top to choose from to fill in the blanks.  There was also a word bank with 7 words at the bottom half of the page.  Since each word was only used once, it was crucial that the students take their time and carefully think each one through.  The reason is that since each word is used only once, then putting it in the wrong place will automatically mean that another must therefore be wrong.  

Before the quiz, I did allow the students time to review their notes as I always do after the warm-up:
