This week was different in the sense that on three consecutive days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) that there was a change in the routine. The schedules for Tuesday and for yesterday were changed for Career Day and for the 5th graders to practice for their performance last night. Wednesday was the 4th and final early release day for this school year. I have posted next year's calendar on my Calendar page. Simply scroll down and you can find the download link. The weekly email has been sent out with an updated list of important dates. Two of note are the addition of Friday, April 29th (3:00-3:30 pm) of the 4th grade musical performance and the revision of Friday, May 27th. That day was originally a teacher workday that became a make-up day due to inclement weather. However, that make-up day was waived since we actually exceed the state-mandated required number of instructional hours for a school year. This is due to the 45 minute extension of the elementary school day.
Lastly, a bunch of graded work, next year's transportation form, the PTSA raffle flyer, and a reminder from Mr. McCurley about the upcoming 4th grade performance (4/29) was sent home with the students.
