We come to an end of another week. As we finish this week at the eve of the three-day Martin Luther King holiday weekend, we are also finishing up with the Energy: Conservation and Transfer unit. I am working on the syllabus for the next unit, which is Earth in the Universe. It will cover the Earth's relationship to the moon, the lunar cycles, why we never see the far side from Earth, the causes of night and day, the causes of the seasons, etc. Yet, we still have the final unit test on Thursday of next week. I created a practice test on Discovery Education and though I have sent out the link in my weekly parent email, it can also be accessed here and here. I will continue to review as much as I can, especially with the daily warm-ups: For social studies, we finished our study of the Wright Brothers by watching this video.
