Though this is Thursday, this is the end of our very short but eventful week. Tomorrow is Veterans Day and school will not be in session. Next week will be the only full week of school in November since the following week has Thanksgiving Break and the week after that goes into December.
Monday is our field trip. Please ensure that your child brings a lunch (unless it is from the cafeteria) and wears warm enough clothing for the morning. As I had mentioned earlier, November and December are short months in comparison with the months to come, especially March and May. In literacy, the students took the nonfiction quiz and then wrote letters to other students at JA Biztown. Once the field trip has come and gone, I will get to focus on reading comprehension again.
The weekly parent email was sent out today since tomorrow is Veterans Day and there will be no school.
In math, we focused again on interpreting remainders. Below is a graphic that I made up to illustrate what it is all about.
Below are the warm ups, the warm-up quiz, and the exit ticket for today.
