Today we began another section of the social studies project. This one is researching a North Carolina pirate. After the warm-up and review, I allowed the class some time to continue working on their written descriptions of the dinosaurs that were invented last quarter. I did review the writing process (brainstorm, plan, rough draft, edit/revise, publish) again since it never hurts to go over that. I then showed a Power Point presentation on pirates and got them started on this aspect of the project. ![]()
