Welcome to the short week following Labor Day and to the unofficial beginning of autumn though the true equinox (≅ amounts of day/night) isn't until the 23rd of this month. Yet, the days continue to get shorter as they have since the end of June. Hopefully, the cool weather will set in. This week marks the beginning of our big fall fundraiser. The proceeds from the fundraiser will help our school as it only in its second year of existence. At 10:45, the students in the upper grades had a pep rally. Ms. O'Hare will be sending out more information. I sent out an email to the parents of all three classes concerning tomorrow's science quiz. The email had links to the Notes and Study Guides page and the link to a practice test where students can show what they know. Speaking of emails, I would like to use this as an opportunity to remind you that I am archiving all of my mass emails on a dedicated page here. This is for you to access as needed. Please note that any individual and personal emails that I send to a parent will not be posted on the Communication Archive page. This is strictly for emails concerning all parents. In science today, we started with a warm-up to review prior content: I also went over the expectations and procedures one last time. After this, the students are on their own though I will still give reminders as needed.
Lastly, today was a literacy tie-in day so we had a passage on magnetism and electricity.
