Today we continued with various assignments (pirate project, dinosaur written piece, etc.) as well as review for Friday's quiz. Tomorrow will be a Kahoot! day so your child is encouraged to bring a device.
Also, I am working on the comprehensive study guide for BOTH the ecosystems and microbiology units. I decided to combine them since the microbiology unit is shorter in duration and it is easier to just do both at one time and then everyone will have something to use over a longer duration. I am hoping to have it completed, uploaded, and emailed out by Friday.
Since we are now in the 4th quarter and EOG's are approaching in less than two months, I have begun the transition in the seating arrangements in my classroom. Whereas all year I had the desks clustered together in groups of four, I have begun the process of moving desks into the traditional rows.
One reason for this is to prepare them for the EOG tests (both mock and actual) since it is required that students be separated. Also, given that "spring fever" is starting to develop, separating the students will help in keeping them focused.
I will continue to make relevant warm-ups for science:
