Today and for the next two days we will be reviewing for the big math common assessment on Monday. Tomorrow and Friday's schedules will be different to accommodate the testing. Tomorrow there will be no specials for grades 3-5 while K-2 gets double specials (back-to-back). This is due to the literacy common assessment tomorrow. Students will still get recess but they will remain with their homerooms throughout the day. On Friday, K-2 will not have specials while 3-5 gets double specials. Next week will be very much like that with Friday, the 24th being a normal day. ![]() ![]()

In science we finished up taking the unit test on Earth History. Some students are still making up the test. Next week we will begin our final full-length unit which is on ecosystems. It is one of the few 4th grade science units that actually forms a foundation for 5th grade. This is due to the state's Essential Standards which sets what content is taught at each grade level. The final unit will be a short one (microbiology - a misnomer) and will cover food, nutrition, and vitamins. It will be short due to the End-of-Grade testing and the year coming to a close.
