We did another day of ordering decimals and it looks like the students overall have it mastered. We began with a math challenge....
We came to the conclusion that they were both of equal value. Adding a zero after the tenths place is just adding a zero. What I would like to add to this tomorrow is to express it as a fraction: 9/10 = 90/100 and see if they can find the pattern (if you add a zero to one side, you need to do the same for the other).
We continued with a second math challenge to see if they could make a best estimate with a limited view.
Then we did another lesson and review of ordering decimals. Tomorrow we will do rounding and some review for the Skill Check.
Science was a review of solvent, solute, solution, etc.
