What We Did Today

We had a very interesting day today.  Right around 6:30 the power went out in the building and it stayed out until sometime before 8:00 am.  Since we are a school that strives to utilize technology to enhance instruction, this made it necessary to be flexible.  So, I had students reading independently and I did some reading aloud with some comprehension questions.  Math did not happen this morning.  However, I worked hard on making lesson plans for today so I simply moved the math lesson to the afternoon.
In social studies, students looked at a series of on-going conflicts throughout the world, chose three, and filled out a graphic organizer.
Here is the Nearpod lesson for math.
